Who is Steven Frangione? I live in Rock Hill, SC with my wife, Jordan, our son, Charlie, and our Golden Retriever, Billie. My wife and I grew up together in Jamestown, a small town south of Buffalo, NY, and we moved to the Carolinas in 2017. Our son is now about 4 years old, and we love spending time with him outdoors, playing at the park, and swimming at our community pool.

I grew up playing baseball, soccer, football and hockey. I started to focus mainly on playing hockey in high school and played competitively throughout college. I still play in the adult leagues here in Pineville and Indian Trail.

I attended college at Penn State in Erie, PA and received my bachelor’s in electrical engineering.

Describe your company and who are your customers? My colleague Pete and I, both members at LOOM, work for Grundfos, a global leader in pump manufacturing and water technology. Our company develops innovative solutions for safe and reliable water management. We serve a diverse range of customers all over the world, from utilities like the Town of Ft. Mill, which provides water services to residents, to industrial facilities that use water for heating or cooling. We both focus primarily on the electrical controls side of the business, developing sustainable & resilient ways to automate water management processes.

What brought you to LOOM and how do you feel you have benefited from coworking? Pete and I both work remotely, and LOOM serves as a perfect midpoint between our homes. It allows us to step out of our home offices and meet up for face-to-face interactions when we’re not traveling. We frequently use the meeting rooms for private discussions and brainstorming sessions. The whiteboards and monitors have been incredibly convenient and helpful for mapping out ideas in person. We’ve even hosted some of our partners, which was challenging before we joined LOOM.
